Job Summary

Leads team of cross functional professionals for a specific period to time to deliver high quality technology solutions to the business. Lead collaboration to create and agree upon plan to deliver a solution to the business, and then baseline the project for ongoing tracking either by scope or functionality. Team will follow the chosen project management methodology and standard work to deliver the solution, continually keeping the project team and stakeholders informed of progress, challenges, and plans to overcome those challenges.

The scope of job can range from a program, set of projects or product depending upon assignment. The resources may be managing the entire project or a specific part of the part of the project. Financial management may be of department, program, or projects and include applicable Procurement Management activities.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

- Manage one or more intermediate or complex projects, within a matrix team environment

- Provide leadership, direction, training, coordination, and effective communication to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects in a safe, efficient, economical, risk-balanced approach to achieve short and long range goals and to obtain maximum customer satisfaction.

- Provide project transparency and develop relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders including internal customers, external customers, team members, suppliers, contractors, vendors, and industry peers, enabling them to make sound business decisions.

- Enable and promote team level continuous improvement activities that increase quality and optimize delivery of value.

- May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.

- Maintain excellent financial discipline of assigned projects and overall portfolio.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, or related technical field is required.

Experience:

- 7 years of relevant work experience is required.

- An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Compensation Range:

$116,255.00 - $151,132.50

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
