What We Are Looking For
GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Support Analyst Supervisor to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department, and our organization. As a Support Analyst Supervisor, you will help ensure the team of Support Analysts are providing top quality support to our end users, adhering to IT Asset Management processes, and maintaining end-user equipment and conference rooms as needed.
Your Pay
The minimum starting pay for this role is $30.00/hr plus bonuses that are tied to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually. Pay will be determined by skills, qualifications and experience.
How You’ll Help
•Supervise day-to-day activities of the Support Analyst team
•Conduct biannual staff evaluations
•Provide guidance and foster employee growth for the Support Analyst team
•Provide tier 2 escalation for the support team for issues
•Create and maintain processes for IT Asset Management for all end user equipment and mobile devices utilizing Microsoft Endpoint Management, NinjaOne, and IT Glue
•Create and maintain processes for IT Service Management utilizing Atlassian Jira for the support team
•Create and maintain processes for IT Operations Management for support tasks utilizing NinjaOne
•Ensure all support documentation is up-to-date and software licenses are compliant
•Work with System Administrators and System Engineers to coordinate deployment of software, hardware, or other project-based work
•Plan and track yearly capital expenditures for laptops, monitors, printers, etc.
•Maintain automation for laptop/VM deployment
•Maintain Virtual Machine templates, images and pools, utilizing VMWare Horizon
•Design Audio-Visual deployments, replacements and upgrades
Experience/Skills You’ll Need
•3 years’ experience in an IT support or technical role
•Understanding of Virtual Environments utilizing VDI infrastructure
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and confidently
•Effective problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting minor issues independently
•Ability to effectively evaluate and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
•Self-motivation, a strong work ethic and impeccable integrity
•A team player open to constructive criticism to help evolve the team
•Ability to lift items such as printers, laptops, desktop computers, monitors, etc.
Preferred Experience/Skills
•1 year experience in a supervisory/lead role
•Experience with NinjaOne
•Experience with VMWare Horizon
•A+ and/or Network+ certification or similar certification
