SUMMARY
The Stamping / Finisher performs many prescribed duties for final operations of manufactured products for finished goods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Quality System:
- Refer questionable conditions to supervisor or appropriate personnel.
- Responsible to prepare and submit/record production records, accurate piece counts, reports and forms required by company procedures.
- Observe all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, and quality of work with support of ISO procedures and standards.
- Utilize individually and/or further the use of total quality concepts, tools, and techniques to support continuous quality improvement in all processes in which the position participates with a positive “Can Do” attitude.
- Work from work orders, diagrams, written and verbal instructions to clean, stamp, etch, and move products to designated locations.
- Follow production procedures to operate machines and equipment to mark and identify all products. (Navy products)
- Wash and clean parts in solvent tanks as needed.
- Apply wax to parts as required.
- Move, lift, and carry material and parts to work areas, bins, and skids.
- Maintain clear and orderly work areas for movement of materials and parts.
- Set-up and operate machines and equipment as directed.
- Support, encourage and maintain a positive team working atmosphere throughout the company.
- Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and changes.
- Use vibro-etcher for marking parts.
- Operate stamping and finishing equipment such as, but not limited to, vibro-etcher, stampers, wash machine and use of hand tools and basic measuring instruments.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
