Stainless Steel Tubing Hand

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stainless Steel Tubing Hand to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining stainless steel tubing systems in a field environment. This position works with tubing benders, and supervisors to ensure tubing assemblies are built accurately, safely, and according to specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, bend, and fit stainless steel tubing to required specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, and work orders.

- Install tubing systems, fittings, valves, and related components.

- Perform proper tubing preparation including deburring, cleaning, and end prep.

- Assist with pressure testing, and leak checks as required.

- Use hand tools, power tools, and tubing fabrication equipment safely.

- Ensure proper alignment and secure installation of tubing systems.

- Maintain accurate measurements and quality standards.

- Follow all company safety policies and job site requirements.

- Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications / Experience

- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- 1 or more years of experience in tubing, fabrication, mechanical, or industrial work preferred.

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

- Familiarity with stainless steel tubing systems and fittings.

- Strong mechanical aptitude.

- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (more with assistance).

- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces.

- Comfortable working or field environments.

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Work Environment

- Oil and Gas field setting.

- Exposure to machinery noise and fabrication equipment.

- Required use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.).
