Join the renewable energy movement with Shift Energy Group! We are seeking a passionate and driven Solar Sales Consultant who will engage directly with clients and communities, helping bring smart, sustainable energy solutions to life.
· Independently manage your territory with support from the Sales Team.
· Conduct in-home consultations (set through internal leads).
· Engage in outbound outreach via phone and email to generate and nurture leads.
· Adapt your schedule to meet clients’ availability, including evenings and weekends.
· Use persuasive communication—in-person and virtual—to close sales.
· Travel regularly within Nova Scotia and occasionally to nearby provinces.
· Attend trade shows and community events to represent Shift Energy Group.
· Perform site assessments for solar installations on residential and commercial properties.
· All other duties as seen necessary for this position.
· A minimum of 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2C or home development products.
· High school diploma required; post-secondary education is a plus.
· Fluency in English is required; bilingual in French is highly preferred.
· Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle.
· Comfort with technology and online tools for sales tracking and communication.
· Prior experience in solar PV sales is a plus but not required.
· Regular travel to support the sales team in various locations as seen necessary by the leader.
· Physical site visits may require walking large properties or outdoor assessments.
· Provision of all necessary materials and training for success
