Solar Installer

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Solar PV Installer to support a growing pipeline of installations throughout Fort Lauderdale and surrounding South Florida areas.

This role is ideal for installers experienced with solar racking systems, Enphase microinverters, PV wiring, and residential rooftop installation safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Install residential solar systems: Mount rooftop solar panels, racking systems, and Enphase microinverters

- Follow installation plans: Read and execute solar layouts, schematics, and system designs

- Run PV wiring: Secure wiring, conduit, and electrical connections for solar systems

- Mount system components: Install panels, rails, and mounting hardware on residential roofs

- Assist with system checks: Support testing and basic troubleshooting of installed systems

- Work safely at heights: Perform installations on roofs and ladders while following safety procedures

- Maintain job sites: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the installation

- Work with the crew: Collaborate with team members to complete installs efficiently and on schedule

Required Experience

- Solar installation experience: Minimum 2+ years installing solar PV systems - required

- Residential rooftop work: Experience installing solar on residential homes

- Roof work capability: Comfortable working on roofs and ladders

- Solar mounting knowledge: Familiar with racking systems and panel installation

- Electrical familiarity: Basic understanding of PV wiring and solar electrical components

- Blueprint reading: Ability to read installation plans and schematics

- Outdoor work: Comfortable working outside in Florida weather conditions

- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

- Enphase certification - preferred, but not required

- Experience with Enphase microinverter systems

Work Location

- Most projects located in Fort Lauderdale

- Travel to nearby South Florida cities may be required

- Some days begin at the warehouse, while others require going directly to the job site

Schedule

- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

- Saturday's are optional, and as needed, based on the installation schedule
