Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and construction, with the ability to install solar energy systems efficiently and safely. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in various construction tasks. The Project will be on a commercial building so commercial experience is a plus!

Duties

- Install solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties.

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.

- Work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, adhering to NEC standards.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely during installation processes.

- Conduct fixture installations, ensuring all components are securely mounted and functional.

- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to maintain safety protocols.

- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues related to solar systems.

- Perform roofing tasks as needed for panel installation.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration.

Experience

- Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role within the construction industry.

- Familiarity with high voltage systems, low voltage systems, and NEC regulations is essential.

- Previous experience in commercial electrician roles is highly desirable.

- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is required.

- Hands-on experience with plumbing and fixture installation is a plus.

- Comfortable working on construction sites with knowledge of safety practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.86 - $28.73 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
