Job Summary:

EMBR Solar is currently looking for a motivated Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing solar panels on residential properties. If you have experience in construction, electrical work, and a passion for renewable energy, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

- Install, commission and service Tesla and Enphase home battery systems.

- Install solar panels on rooftops following engineering plans and manufacturer instructions

- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently

- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects

- Work on construction sites to mount panels securely and connect wiring

- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

- Conduct quality checks to ensure proper installation and functionality

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues with our solar systems

Requirements:

- Must drive and maintain own truck. (Compensation will be provided to qualified candidates on a fixed monthly basis with gas card).

- Must be able to travel 4-8 hours or when needed.

- Previous experience in a related field such as construction or electrical work

- Knowledge of commercial electrician practices is a plus

- Familiarity with low voltage systems and components

- Ability to work at heights on roofs in various weather conditions

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies in the solar industry
