Solar Installer

Responsibilities

The Installer performs PV solar installations in accordance with NABCEP and Solar Power Pros standards while enforcing the company’s safety procedures. The Installer’s responsibilities include pulling inventory, pre-assembling components, conducting solar module layout and assembly, mounting racking hardware and solar modules, installing electrical conduit and wiring, documenting installation progress, cleaning up the job site, attending training sessions and additional duties as needed.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year of solar rooftop installation experience required

- NABCEP PV Associate certification preferred

- General knowledge about PV solar systems and components

- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

- Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time

- Ability to work in personal protection equipment

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Commitment to safety

- High school diploma or GED required

- Valid state driver’s license with clean DMV driving record (example, no DUI in the last 5 years)

- All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
