Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and installation processes. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all systems are installed safely and efficiently according to industry standards.

Duties

- Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground mounts.

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.

- Perform electrical work including high voltage and low voltage connections.

- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during installations.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively on construction sites.

- Conduct fixture installations as part of the solar energy system setup.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise during or after installation.

Skills

- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.

- Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.

- Experience as a commercial electrician is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with NEC regulations to ensure compliance during installations.

- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely on job sites.

- Previous experience in roofing is a plus for installations on rooftops.

- Background in plumbing can be beneficial for integrated system installations.

- Solid construction site experience with an emphasis on safety protocols.

Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour
