Solar Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and a passion for renewable energy. This role involves installing solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.

Duties

- Install solar panel systems according to design specifications and schematics.

- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations.

- Work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring all installations meet NEC standards.

- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately install fixtures and electrical components.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely on construction sites.

- Perform roofing tasks as needed during the installation process.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion while adhering to safety protocols.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.

Requirements

- Proven experience in electrical work or as a commercial electrician is preferred.

- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.

- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

- Experience with fixture installation, plumbing, and roofing is a plus.

- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary.

Pay: $43.50 per hour
