Company Description:

Simple Power is a fast-growing solar integrator located in Reno, NV, servicing the Reno-Tahoe area. We specialize in residential and commercial grid-tied projects. We are looking for a like-minded, articulate, and accountable individual who is looking for an opportunity to join a well-run family business. The ideal candidate would be willing and eager to work (and sometimes play) alongside us while learning from experts in the green technology industry.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

- Ensuring all necessary equipment and tools arrive at the job site

- Install roof attachments, racking, modules, combiner boxes, and wiring

- Perform quality solar PV installations based on system design specifications

- Ensure personal, crew, and job site safety at all times

- Help with tool management and maintenance of company vehicles

- Performs project clean-up, including client site and installation vehicle

- Provide excellent service and a positive experience for the customers

Qualifications:

- Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.

- Roof work, general construction, or carpentry experience preferred, but not required

- Must be comfortable working from ladders and comfortable with heights

- Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)

- Notable track record of attendance and reliable employee performance

- A strong desire to be a team player and work in a collaborative environment

- Excellent communication skills and a professional and positive attitude

- Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 10 card within 30 days of hire

- NABCEP certification a plus - must be willing to obtain within 3-6 months of hire (mentoring & study materials will be provided by Simple Power)

- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements and have valid drivers license

Compensation & Terms:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday/Friday, 40-50 hours per week.

Wage range: $22/hr - $42/hr+, DOE
