Site Operations Manager – Bitcoin Mining/Data Center

Location: Rockdale, Texas Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

We are growing fast and looking for a hands-on Site Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations. If you thrive in high-energy industrial environments, love building strong teams, and know how to drive uptime and performance, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will own the overall performance of the Rockdale site and lead a team to hit uptime, safety, and production targets. You will report to the EVP of Field Operations and Director Mining of Mining Operations.

You will:

- Drive site hash rate, uptime, and productivity, quickly removing obstacles to performance.

- Lead daily operations and workflow according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Draft, maintain, and update site-specific SOPs and keep the SOP library current and organized.

- Develop, monitor, and manage KPIs for the operations team; coach and train team members for continuous improvement.

- Maintain accurate inventory of miners, site assets, customer assets, and company equipment.

- Ensure technicians are trained to maintain miner health, perform repairs, and process warranty shipments.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for onsite and remote technicians, vendors, and logistics partners.

- Oversee safety and compliance, uphold OSHA standards, and champion a safe work environment.

- Prepare regular performance and production reports for internal leadership and clients.

- Manage operational budgets and deliverables to balance reliability, efficiency, and cost control.

- Monitor task management and quality control, including when supervising work remotely.

- Build a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork aligned with Satokie’s values.

You will also directly supervise all site operations staff, including:

- Overseeing daily workflow and performance.

- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new team members as needed.

- Coaching, developing, and evaluating employees.

- Managing inventory and inbound/outbound logistics.

- Administering discipline and performance management in line with company policy.

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.

- At least 2 years of leadership experience in operations, maintenance, or a similar environment.

- Demonstrated success leading teams to meet uptime and production targets.

- Experience with capital and O&M (operations and maintenance) budgeting.

- Strong background in planning, scheduling, and delegating complex operational tasks.

- Experience with daily work management programs and equipment risk prioritization.

- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.

- Ability to pass a background check.

Nice to have (big plus):

- Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and cooling solutions in large data center environments.

- Familiarity with Bitcoin mining or industrial-scale computing operations.

- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices for industrial or data center environments.

- High attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working across levels and functions.

- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

Work environment & schedule

This is a hands-on, onsite role at a client owned industrial mining/data center facility in Rockdale.

- Exposure to loud noise, high-heat environments, air particulates, and varying/extreme weather conditions.

- Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using tools/equipment.

- Some desk and computer work for reporting and administrative tasks.

- Required ability to work nights, weekends, or be on call as part of standard duties.

- Approximately 10% travel may be required.
