Our local office in Salem OR is seeking an experienced Service Technician to be one of the first points of contact with our customers. Our Service Technicians are passionate, customer-focused professionals with outstanding people skills and the desire to help us grow our business through hard work and innovative thinking!

About the Job

Our Service Technicians have extensive knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities in servicing most major commercial and residential appliances. Must be able to diagnose, repair and install systems with the highest level of customer service.

Products and services installed and repaired include but not limited to:

- General plumbing-water/gas/vent systems

- HVAC systems

- Generator installation/repair- Stand-by & Prime Power

- Commercial boiler systems

- Water heaters-tank & on-demand

- Space heating/temporary heat systems

- Gas distribution systems

- Refrigerators and freezers

- Commercial restaurant systems (gas)

- Gas stoves/ovens/cook tops

- Installation of propane tanks, gas meters and regulators

- Test & examine gas transmission pipelines

- Ensure all company policies, procedures, handbooks, manuals, and state/local and federal codes are adhered to in connection with all troubleshooting, repairs, services, and installations

- Complete paperwork in neat, timely, and accurate manner

- Present a neat and clean appearance, including maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle

The position is local serving Salem and surrounding area, applicant must have or be willing to obtain a valid OR CDL with HAZMAT, tanker and air brake endorsements within the first 6 months of employment. The position is full time year-round Monday – Friday with occasional varying hours based on the seasonal needs of the business. Evenings and weekends are required on occasion and include a rotating, on-call responsibility.

The successful applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug & alcohol test and a physical.
