Service Technician

Overview

We are currently looking for a dependable and skilled Service Technician to join our team. This role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining window and door systems at customer locations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical ability, experience using tools, and the ability to deliver professional service to clients while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair window and door systems using appropriate tools and techniques

- Perform maintenance and adjustments to ensure proper functionality and safety

- Assemble or replace parts and components when necessary

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently

- Follow company safety standards and procedures at all times

- Keep accurate records of service work, parts used, and repairs completed

- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service work and recommendations

- Work independently in the field while coordinating with team members when required

Requirements

- Valid Ontario Full G Driver’s License with a clean driving record

- Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)

- Experience working in window and door service, repair, or installation environments preferred

- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using tools

- Familiarity with troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for window and door systems is an asset

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
