Service Technician – Job Description
The Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing Pickford’s rental fleet and customer-owned equipment through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role also supports accurate assembly and preparation of rental, service, and sales orders to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
The Service Technician works closely with sales, shipping, and warehouse teams to maintain equipment reliability, quality standards, and operational efficiency. Success in this role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, time management, and a commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
Key responsibilities include equipment inspection and repair, order assembly, documentation of service activities, safe operation of forklifts, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The role supports Pickford’s operational excellence by delivering consistent, high-quality service and reliable equipment readiness.
Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
