We’re partnering with a small, fast-growing accounting firm in Abilene that’s looking for a Senior Tax Professional to join their team.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys hands-on tax work, client interaction, and the opportunity to help shape processes in a growing environment.

Job Description

Tax Compliance & Review

• Prepare and review 1040, 1065, and 1120/1120S returns

Tax Planning & Strategy

• Conduct tax research and projections

• Identify opportunities to reduce client tax liability

Client Interaction

• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings

• Explain and present tax returns when needed

Process Improvement

• Help streamline internal workflows

• Support ongoing compliance with changing tax laws

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Finance

• 3–5+ years of tax experience

• CPA preferred (not required)

• Strong Excel + tax software skills

• Self-starter with a strong ownership mindset

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
