This is an equity-compensation based role for a highly capable electrical engineer seeking to collaborate in next-generation grid storage and charge infrastructure technologies.
You will be responsible for creating and refining hardware semiconductor device, board, electrical designs and schematics, working on highly advanced and complex power systems wiring, control systems engineering, embedded and power conversion system.
An outstanding communicator, and never needing to be asked to deliver something, because you already are two steps ahead of the game, your additional responsibilities include collaborating with multi-disciplinary high-performance teams to ensure product success, solving some of the world's toughest technical challenges, meeting and beating the latest industry standards, specifications.
Most of the work can be done remotely.
- 5-10+ electrical, power electronics and physical systems electrical design experience
- Deep expertise in hardware design, testing and commercialization of power conversion systems, embedded hardware, high voltage, medium and low voltage electrical wiring, harnessing, electrical integration engineering and field engineering
- Ability to work on complex, agile and innovative product development and lead engineering initiatives
- Outstanding self-initiative, collaborative, solution-finding, positivity and critical/analytical skills
- Bachelor's, Master’s degree or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering,
- Professional Engineer (PE) license for New York is highly desirable
- Prior experience with code compliance and UL certification preferred
