Position Description
The Senior Data & Records Integrity (DRI) Analyst is responsible for managing and auditing project quality documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports the full lifecycle of project closure packages—from document intake and coordination to audit, validation, and final archival.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical documentation experience, a working knowledge of pipeline construction processes, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality documentation process, including required checklists for discipline-specific activities
- Coordinate with field inspectors and contractors to ensure timely, accurate submission of project documentation
- Track and manage incoming project documentation from multiple sources
- Conduct comprehensive audits of closure packages for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure alignment with company standards and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., PHMSA)
- Perform detailed technical reviews of engineering documentation including:
- Drawings and as-builts
- Bills of material and purchase orders
- Material Test Reports (MTRs)
- NDE Reader Sheets and inspection records
- Pressure test reports and qualifications
- Validate material and weld traceability and confirm personnel qualifications
- Identify discrepancies and perform comparative analysis across technical documents
- Collaborate with Project Managers to obtain final approvals and signatures for project closeout
- Maintain closure package status within Project Tracker and manage resolution of pending items
- Scan, organize, and file audited documentation into electronic systems for permanent record retention
- Coordinate with regional teams and corporate groups for proper archival of records
- Create and maintain databases (e.g., welder qualifications tracking)
- Assist with training of inspectors and new hires on QA documentation and audit processes
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the DRI and QA processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5–10 years of experience in construction documentation, quality assurance, or project records management
- Working knowledge of pipeline construction processes including Coatings, Welding, and welder qualifications, Material Test Reports (MTRs), and Hydrostatic/pressure testing
- Experience auditing technical or engineering documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and document management systems
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Experience in an engineering or pipeline environment
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to pipeline records and compliance (e.g., PHMSA)
- Experience with closure package audits and energy project documentation
- Knowledge of as-built drawings, survey data, and material traceability processes
- Strong attention to detail and audit discipline
- Investigative mindset with the ability to resolve incomplete or conflicting information

- Ability to occasionally lift and move file boxes containing project documentation
