Senior Data Engineer

Description About the Role

The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Data Engineer in our Corporate office. In this hybrid role, you'll work closely with team members to build and maintain data pipelines and integrations that power our organization's data ecosystem. Collaborating with our database administration team and cross-functional partners, you'll help design, implement, and optimize the data infrastructure that drives our business decisions and operations.

What You'll Do

- Data Pipelines: Collaborate with database administration team members to design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines for centralized data storage and analytics systems.

- Data Integration Processes: Design and implement internal APIs and services for seamless data integration between internal applications and third-party systems. Automate data integration processes using existing tools and develop custom solutions for unique integration challenges.

- Data Exchange: Contribute to event-driven architecture and messaging systems for real-time data exchange across the business.

- Data Systems Support: Support and maintain scalable data systems for both transactional and analytical workloads, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and timeliness.

- Data Oversight: Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance, while monitoring and optimizing data pipeline performance.

Requirements

- 7+ years of cloud platform environment experience

- Bachelor's degree in Technology Area or equivalent experience

- No travel required

- Physical Demand: Sedentary
