Senior Controller (Industrial Services | POC Accounting)

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for a growing industrial services company. This is a high-impact role for someone with strong percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting experience who can own the month-end close and partner with operations on project financials.

What You’ll Do

- Own and lead the full month-end close process

- Manage financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)

- Oversee POC revenue recognition and WIP reporting

- Partner with operations on job costing and project performance

- Review and reconcile general ledger and payroll (ADP)

- Work within Sage Intacct

- Support audits and strengthen internal controls

- Deliver clear financial insights to leadership

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

- 7+ years of accounting experience, including leadership

- Strong background in POC accounting (industrial services, construction, or similar)

- Proven success managing month-end close

- Experience with Sage Intacct and ADP (preferred)

- Advanced Excel skills

- Experience with job costing + WIP schedules

- Industrial services, oilfield services, or construction background
