Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chief Engineer to lead complex engineering projects within our organization. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, system design, and project management, with the ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams and ensure the successful development of innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise, including proficiency in CAD software, programming languages, and data analysis, to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing and construction initiatives.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced mechanical systems and processes.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet technical specifications and deadlines.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD tools to create detailed schematics and system layouts.
- Apply MATLAB, Python, C++, and scripting skills for data collection, analysis, and automation tasks.- Manage system integration efforts involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies to support innovative engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, construction, and laboratory environments to optimize system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality protocols, and industry regulations during all phases of project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical documentation to maintain high standards of engineering excellence.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing or construction settings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python, C++, and scripting languages for system design and data analysis.- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in systems engineering principles and process optimization.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control system integration.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills for research purposes and process improvements.
- Laboratory experience is a plus for conducting experiments related to system testing and validation.
