The Senior Manager, Channel Partner will be responsible for driving performance and growth through Thermon's channel partner network across the Western Hemisphere. This role will provide strategic and operational support to Region Managers in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America, while directly managing all channel partners in South America. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of managing channel partners, leveraging technology for performance management, and fostering strong relationships to achieve revenue and market share goals.
- Support Region Managers in Canada, U.S., Mexico, and Latin America to optimize channel partner performance. Directly manage channel partners in South America, ensuring alignment with Thermon's strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth through channel partners.
- Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, providing actionable insights and improvement plans.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan to support channel partners, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to succeed.
- Set annual targets for channel partners in alignment with regional goals.
- Review and approve all partner-related payments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage contracts, including negotiating terms and conditions to protect Thermon's interests.
- Onboard new channel partners, ensuring smooth integration into Thermon's processes and systems.
- Use modern tools and platforms to manage information exchange, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Maintain strong relationships with channel partners, ensuring clear communication and mutual success.
- Up to 30% travel across the Western Hemisphere for partner visits, training, and business reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing channel partners in an industrial or technical environment.
- Knowledge of industrial products or solutions.
- Experience with CRM systems and partner portals.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
- Proven ability to leverage technology for partner management and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
