We are seeking a Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with 15–20 years of progressive HR leadership experience to join our organization. This role serves as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders, partnering closely with executive leadership to align people strategies with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and sustainable growth.
The Senior Director HRBP will report to VP of HR, lead a team of 6–8 HRBPs and HR coordinators, owning the HRBP function and delivering high-impact people solutions across a fast-growing, complex organization. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, executive presence, and deep experience supporting organizations within financial services, capital markets, renewable energy, or similarly regulated and high-growth environments. This individual will be a confident change leader, trusted advisor, and data-driven decision-maker with the ability to influence all levels including c-suites and executives of the organization.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing expert insights and guidance on all HR-related matters.
- Oversee HRBP and Employee Full Lifecycle functions, including but not limited to: Performance Management, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Employee Experience (onboarding/offboarding), Engagement, and Communications.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business goals and promote organizational growth and efficiency.
- Foster a culture that supports the company’s mission, values, and promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead the development and execution of performance management cycle to enhance employee productivity and retention.
- Manage internal corporate communications strategies to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's vision.
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business success.
- Lead, mentor, and coach team members, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Stay current with HR trends, best practices, and legal compliance requirements, ensuring the company remains competitive and compliant in partnership with Legal.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership experience overseeing HRBP teams in high-growth, complex, or regulated environments.- Experience working in global and/or matrixed organizations with geographically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated experience supporting executive leaders in organizational design, leadership development, workforce planning, and change management.
- Expertise in Talent Management including talent review, succession planning.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial, operational, and talent implications of business decisions.
- Proven ability to influence at all levels of an organization with strong executive presence, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Experience within financial services, capital markets, renewable energy, or similarly regulated industries.
- Experience supporting lending, financing, or investment-driven organizations.
- HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday and ADP.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
