Senior Accountant JIB

Job Summary

Flywheel Energy is a rapidly growing private oil and gas company focused on Building momentum where it matters. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant, Joint Interest Billing to join our Accounting team. This role is critical in managing joint interest billing processes, ensuring accuracy in cost allocation, and supporting financial reporting and audit activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to drive efficiency through process improvements and use of technology.

Key Responsibilitie

- sPrepare monthly JIB journal entries timely and accuratel

- yReview and process Non-Operated JIB invoice

- sCreate and maintain AFEs in the accounting syste

- mExecute the Joint Interest Billing cycle on a monthly basi

- sServe as point of contact for partners regarding billing inquiries and issue

- sSupport monthly financial close, including cost accruals and reconciliation

- sPrepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and complianc

- eAssist with documentation and support of annual financial statement audit

- sParticipate in special projects, initiatives, and process improvement

- sUtilize front-end accounting systems and digital tools effectivel

Required Qualificatio

- nsBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent years of experience in Oil & Gas Accounti

- ng5+ years of oil and gas accounting experience, with a focus on operations accounti
