Hybrid – 1-2 days/week in our Minneapolis office
We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our growing Commercial One-Stop Lighting team! This role reports to the Support Staff Supervisor. The One-Stop team is responsible for implementing commercial rebate programs in Xcel Energy territory. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for data entry, managing internal and external partner relationships, and responding to auditor and vendor requests in a timely manner. This position does not have any direct reports.

- Interpret and accurately enter proposals from auditors/vendors
- Review work and request changes from contractors and other partners.
- Build constructive and effective relationships with program staff, vendors, and participants using diplomacy and tact
- Respond to auditor/vendor requests for emails, faxes, and follow-up calls in a timely manner
- Gain a complete understanding of program processes and policies to answer questions and serve as back-up during vacations and busy periods
- Utilize Salesforce to update work stages and lifecycles
- Interpret reports and data to ensure accuracy and that all jobs are accounted for
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all assigned work and its place in the job life cycle
- Relevant bachelor's degree or 2 years of commercial lighting experience
- Commercial lighting experience or the ability to quickly learn and apply technical information
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to customized software programs and solutions
- Ability to follow direction, take initiative, and work independently
- Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work while balancing urgent timelines
- Values and demonstrates integrity, teamwork, capacity for learning, and results-orientation
- Previous experience in a sales support role
Dependent on qualifications and experience, we expect the pay range upon hire for this position will be $26-$26.5/hr.
