Lighting Controls Specialist

Key Qualifications

- Engineering, architectural, and/or electrical background, preferably with experience in lighting control systems

- Bachelor of Science degree required

- Prior experience with architectural drawings and one-line lighting designs; AutoCAD proficiency is a plus

- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) required

- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

- Based in San Juan, Puerto Rico

- Availability for international travel

Key Attributes / Role Description

- Lead initiatives to drive growth of lighting control systems in Puerto Rico (primary market) and other Caribbean markets as needed

- Work closely with architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and system integrators to support project development

- Focus on writing project specifications and developing competitive strategies for key commercial projects

- Coordinate company-wide efforts to increase awareness and visibility of lighting control systems and related products

- Serve as a key liaison between Glenn International and manufacturer product specialists

- Analyze major lighting and lighting control competitors in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to understand market dynamics and counter local tactics

- Deliver lighting control training sessions on-site, at client locations, or virtually, as required
