Sales and Marketing Specialist

Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Sark Wire is seeking a Sales and Marketing Specialist to drive revenue growth through the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives and impactful marketing campaigns. This role blends sales expertise with marketing creativity, requiring a strong grasp of market research, lead generation, customer engagement, and brand-building.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.

- Track sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Promote Sark Wire products and expand the customer portfolio by acquiring new accounts.

- Receive and process customer orders in a timely manner.

- Communicate order status updates to customers.

- Organize completed materials according to customer specifications.

- Coordinate shipping schedules for completed orders.

- Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.

Marketing Responsibilities:

- Design and execute marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional platforms.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.

- Analyze market conditions to identify growth opportunities.

- Develop compelling marketing content, including brochures, advertisements, and blog posts.

- Collaborate with the marketing manager to ensure high-quality customer service.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; a two-year degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales; 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group settings.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Work Environment

Physical and Operational Setting:

- Work is conducted in a plant environment that is typically loud and may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts.

- Must adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

- Occasional exposure to industrial conditions such as vibration, noise, and environmental hazards.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
