SES Inc., a software development company, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, is launching our new capital cost-estimating software. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our sales initiatives and marketing strategies. This individual will have a proactive entrepreneurial spirit and will see the opportunity that software applications can have in capital cost estimating. The candidate will play a pivotal role in proactively promoting and selling our software and services, marketing and seeking new business opportunities.
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
· Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
· Propose and implement marketing initiatives and represent the company at client and industry events to promote our software and services.
· Update and maintain company website and marketing materials.
· Work closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in design and implementation of cost estimating solutions.
· Prepare and present regular sales/forecast/market analysis reports to senior management.
· Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field of study
· 5+ years of proven experience in business development/technical sales preferably in capital cost estimating.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical and business concepts clearly and effectively.
· Strong work ethic and self-motivation, with a history of delivering high quality, consistent results
· Proactive and effective collaborator and team player focused on contributing to collective goals
· Flexible and adaptable, capable of handling various roles and tasks as needed.
Work Location: In Corporate Office with travel as required
