About the Role:

Maverick Power is looking for a cross-functional Product Marketing Specialist who blends engineering knowledge with marketing savvy to drive product visibility, market penetration, and revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone with a background in power distribution and a passion for translating technical excellence into compelling messaging and tools. You will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and creative marketing teams to lead product launches, develop technical collateral, and craft engaging campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Launch & Promotion

- Lead and coordinate product launches in collaboration with sales, marketing, and engineering teams

- Translate engineering concepts into customer-centric messaging, differentiators, and value propositions

- Design and deploy go-to-market strategies across multiple channels

- Marketing Content & Tools Development

- Develop and maintain marketing collateral including product flyers, spec sheets, videos, tools, and presentations

- Direct or coordinate product photography, video shoots, and promotional content

- Collaborate with the website team to ensure new products are well-represented online with clear messaging and documentation

- Support the creation of interactive tools and visuals for sales enablement and customer education

- Market Intelligence & Strategy

- Conduct market analysis to evaluate product-market fit, revenue opportunities, competitive positioning, and penetration

- Identify emerging trends, customer needs, and whitespace opportunities in power distribution

- Support pricing and bundling strategies by analyzing product performance and customer feedback

- Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Act as a bridge between Marketing, Engineering, and Sales to align messaging, technical accuracy, and business goals

- Maintain product documentation and ensure consistency across internal and customer-facing materials

- Contribute to trade show planning, demos, and product training materials

- Other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the power distribution industry

- Proven experience working cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and engineering

- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

- Previous experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or sales enablement roles

- Experience developing interactive tools, product configurators, or calculators

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or a related field

- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems (e.g., HubSpot, Epicor)

- Additional certifications in marketing, digital strategy, or technical writing are a plus

- Strong understanding of electrical power distribution equipment (e.g., UL 891, 1558, 1008, 67, 508A, NEC, ANSI/IEEE C37.20)

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Comfortable using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, or other marketing platforms

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to conduct market research and translate insights into actionable recommendations

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to perform all functions of the role including, but not limited to, operating a computer, lifting up to 25lbs, standing or sitting for long periods and bend and twist as necessary.

Work Environment:

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
