Sales Application Specialist

Opportunity Summary

Compact Compression Inc. (CCI) is looking for a Sales Application Specialist who will enhance the organization’s market position, increase revenue and profit in Canada. This person will be a trusted, credible advisor to new and existing customers, working to grow existing accounts through active networking and support, providing fit-for-purpose solutions to customers. This individual has a thorough knowledge of oil & gas production processes and will quickly develop a superior level of expertise in CCI’s technology and applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for submitting technical and commercial proposals to customers, engaging them through the sales cycle and converting opportunities to wins. This is a salaried position.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Receive inquiries through the CCI website and calls from customers and provide relevant, timely information to capture opportunities. Generate quotes and work to convert opportunities into wins.

Account Management: Active, scheduled communication with existing customers to maintain close working relationships and work to strengthen and grow each account.

Marketing Material and Media: Create marketing material and technical presentations to educate customers on CCI’s technologies and applications. Responsible for CCI website content upkeep and generation of CCI publications and media posts.

Presentations: Represent the company in trade shows, conferences and technical presentations.

Technical Aptitude: Maintain strong working knowledge in all CCI technology, processes and operations and their field application.

Market Intelligence: Conduct market and competitor evaluation to understand market trends and price points and convey to the sales team.

CRM: Maintain the CRM, capturing contacts, opportunities, key developments and advancement.

Execute all other tasks as required by the Compact Compression executive team

Skills & Experience

5 years technical sales experience in oil & gas service is an asset

5 years engineering / technical experience in oil & gas production, optimization, artificial lift, process facilities

Exceptional skills with presenting, written & oral communication

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

Strong computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
