Rock Crushing Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Rock Crushing Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and a solid understanding of construction site operations. This role involves managing rock crushing processes, operating various machinery, and ensuring efficient and safe production on-site. Candidates with mechanical knowledge and experience with equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, tankers, and dump trucks are highly preferred. Responsibilities

- Operate rock crushing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols

- Manage and monitor the operation of heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and other equipment

- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance

- Assist with site preparation and cleanup activities related to crushing operations

- Coordinate with construction teams to facilitate smooth workflow and timely project completion

- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

- Document operational data and report any issues or malfunctions promptly

- Support other construction-related tasks such as paving or tanker operations as needed

Requirements

- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation within construction or mining environments (minimum, 2yrs)

- Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery and equipment maintenance

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred, but not required for operating dump trucks or water trucks

- Experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, tankers, or similar equipment is highly desirable

- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods

- Prior, verifiable experience in rock crushing operations is mandatory

- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
