Job Description:

Currently we have an immediate need for a skilled Heavy Equipment and stone crusher/screen Field Mechanic. We are looking for diesel mechanics with heavy equipment or agricultural equipment experience including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnostics and repair.

Based out of Cleveland NC but able to travel Southeast as needed.

Contract Mechanics or full time

Requirements/responsibilities:

- Mechanic must have strong trouble shooting abilities on Heavy Equipment

- Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on mobile equipment and crushing/screening plants

- Perform work independently and travel to on-site locations for jobs

- Self motivated and able to work alone

- 5+ years experience in field work required a plus

- Mechanic has the ability to perform repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment

- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of Construction and Forestry

- Should own your own tools

- Heavy Equipment Mechanic has the ability to perform basic computer functions

- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly

- Some level of Service Technician certification preferred not required

- Valid driver's license is required; Commercial Driver License (CDL) preferred

- The successful candidate will submit to a background check, MVR and drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
