The Regional Sales Representative - Outside Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Alabama. The primary responsibilities include generating new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned region. The representative will identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and prepare and present sales proposals. They will also actively collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services while staying informed about market trends and industry developments.
- Proven sales and business development experience, with strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills. Existing relationships in and knowledge of the assigned territory is critical.
- Understanding of metal distribution, including knowledge of aluminum, stainless steel, and pre-painted metal products, is a must.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities to handle multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical and business information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, with a results-driven mindset, and effectively travel to meet clients within the assigned region as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
