The Role
Pason is seeking a temporary Receptionist & Admin to work in our Calgary Head office. You will be responsible for managing the front reception area to ensure a smooth and positive experience for visitors and handle administrative tasks for Pason. You will also be responsible for administrative support for various departments as requested. The role is the first point of contact for customers and suppliers for both telephone communication and in office visits.
This is a temporary position from June 2025 to November 2026.
Responsibilities:
•Reception duties include greeting visitors, answering phones and directing calls, taking messages, managing mail and packages and assisting with ordering supplies
•Administrative support for various departments which could include but not limited to, data entry, reporting, photocopying, inner city couriers, catering, and travel
•Assess cleanliness and stock levels for all boardrooms and kitchens
•Coordinate supply requirements for photocopiers and office supply cabinets
•Coordinate catering needs upon request
•Support annual community and external/internal office events
•Maintain an organized and tidy reception area
•Availability to work within our core office hours of 8am – 5pm (flexibility is required outside of these hours)
•Other duties as required
Qualifications:
•Professional written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines through various email accounts
•Great attention to detail
•In-depth understanding of Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
Experience
•Minimum 2 to 3 years of previous reception or office administration experience
Education
•High School Diploma required
•A Certificate in Administration would be considered an asset
