Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous inspection and testing processes. This position promotes positive relations with the production team to enhance Quality culture and awareness.
Duties
•Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
•Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
•Analyze inspection data and prepare reports detailing findings, trends, and recommendations for corrective actions.
•Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements in processes.
•Maintain documentation related to quality systems, including inspection records, test results, and non-conformance reports.
•Participate in internal audits to ensure adherence to quality management standards.
•Support the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols in line with ISO.
Qualifications
•High School Degree or equivalent and 1-3 years of proven experience in a quality technician or similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
•Experience in weld inspection preferred.
•Ability to read blueprints and have some understanding of GD&T MINIMUM
•Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gages)
•Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
•Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of independence.
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
