RESPONSIBILITIES
•Perform hydro-test on all production runs
•Conduct change outs in all areas (production, jacketing, re-spool, hydro, and extrusion)
•Daily yard operations rigging
•Rigger (using hand signals, run chain through shipping spools, tie chains to shackles, guide the forklift operators)
•Operate re-spooling equipment
•Load and off-load trucks
•Ensure all products have proper identification
•Maintain good housekeeping and organization around the yard
•Performs other tasks as assigned
•Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
•Certified to operate light-duty forklifts and equipment (Lull, Man-Lift)
•One of the following milestones
+ NCCCO Certified in Hand Signals
+ NCCCO Certified in Rigging
+ Certified to operate heavy-duty forklifts (40-ton and 55-ton)
•Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
•Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
•Clear and concise communicator (written and verbal).
•Detail-oriented and organized.
•Able to stand for long periods of time
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes, and hardhats. Company uniforms must be worn at all times.
