REQUIREMENTS: The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that the processes for the QMS are established, implemented, and maintained. The QA/QC manager will work with Management, Customers, Order Entry, office staff, processing personnel and customer QA/QC personnel to ensure that these requirements are met. Must have the ability to work in a factory environment, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Responsible for collecting summary reports and data from the responsible functions and reporting the QMS performance to management. Both communicate to ensure adequate employee awareness of the company’s QMS, customer requirements, and QMS effectiveness. Compliance with specification and keeping record keeping.
DUTIES: To design and implement the QMS Freedom Metal Finishing Inc. has: Identified the processes needed for the QMS and their application throughout the organization and documented them on the Process Flow Diagram at the end of this section of the Quality Manual; Determined the sequence and interaction of these processes, and illustrated them on the Process Flow Diagram; Determined criteria and methods needed to ensure that the operation and control of the processes are effective, and documented them in quality plans, work instructions and the Measuring, Monitoring and Analysis Table; Ensured the continuing availability of resources and information necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement of these processes; Established systems to monitor, measure and analyze these processes, and; Established processes to identify and implement actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement of these processes. Testing in-house and outsourcing will be controlled under the requirements of AS9100 and Nadcap.
EDUCATION / PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: College Education or 2 years of previous experience in Quality Control Environment. Plating, Chemistry and Painting experience with quality preferred. Comprehension of Specifications, NADCAP and AS9100 requirements preferred. The ability to read and understand blueprints is required for finishing and dimensions.
