We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager / Warehouse Manager to join our team. - Order HVAC equipment and materials for new construction and multiple company divisions.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure timely billing of outgoing materials and equipment.
- Process warranties for new construction parts and coordinate related orders.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, lead times, and resolve delivery issues.
- Manage inbound deliveries—check for missing or damaged items—and oversee outbound deliveries to jobsites.
- Operate a forklift as needed to load and unload trucks.
- Coordinate with department heads on special-order material and tool requests.
- Track warehouse employee hours and support team efficiency.
- Support the installation of heater kits and propane kits on HVAC equipment.
- Handle general facility maintenance tasks (light bulbs, minor plumbing/electrical, pest control).
- Submit periodic inventory counts to corporate and place bulk orders based on needs.
- Assist with other duties to ensure smooth warehouse and purchasing operations.
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage two direct reports (warehouse employees).
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Comfortable with physical tasks: must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.- Willingness to climb stairs or ladders and perform hands-on work when needed.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word); Excel experience is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Familiarity with ADP, PO systems, and warranty processing is helpful.
- Warehouse, HVAC, or management experience is strongly preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus—training available if needed.
- Must pass a drug test and background screening.
- Typical work schedule is 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary with workload). Occasional on-call availability may be required.
