Duties & Responsibilities
•Collaborate with all departments and business functions to ensure the efficient and timely processing of customer orders.
•Make informed decisions and provide direction to support on-time delivery at the lowest operational cost.
•Coordinate with internal departments—including Purchasing, Fabrication, Paint, Assembly, Testing, Quality, and Service—to ensure project milestones are met according to the project plan.
•Manage all aspects of project planning and execution, including:
+ Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), tasks, and subtasks
+ Project budgets
+ Schedules, key milestones, and deliverables
+ Contracts and contract modifications
+ Project status reporting, change orders, issue tracking, and resolution planning for all stakeholders (customers, vendors, internal teams, and leadership)
•Lead order processing by identifying critical path items and initiating timely actions to ensure their successful execution.
•Maintain cross-functional access to drive collaboration and resolve issues at all organizational levels.
•Maintain full awareness of project/order status and be prepared to provide real-time updates to management and sales teams.
•Monitor order costs continuously and report any potential variances or negative cost impacts promptly.
•Engage with customers during the design, assembly, and post-sale phases to address questions, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
•Track project progress and proactively communicate any impacts on the delivery schedule—whether positive or negative.
•Utilize project management tools and software to plan, manage, and monitor the lifecycle of all orders.
•Manage a portfolio of active orders simultaneously.
•Close projects by documenting outcomes, evaluating process and cost performance, and recommending improvements for future pricing and delivery planning.
•Independently manage complex and multiple projects, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•Ensure compliance with all company policies, processes, safety, and environmental regulations.
•Support customer change order preparation, documentation, and processing, including acknowledgment and acceptance tracking.
•Promote effective internal and external communication through appropriate channels such as meetings, emails, and conference calls.

Skills & Experience Required:
•A bachelor’s degree in project management or a related field is preferred OR a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience will be considered.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, production control, or purchasing.
•Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations on a regular basis.
•Strong understanding of blueprints, machining, fabrication, and raw material processes.
•Proficient in computer hardware/software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project), Adobe Acrobat, and ERP systems.
•Excellent communication, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
•Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across various departments.
