We are the proud owner of a patented casting process that supplies coiled aluminum sheet to the packaging and automotive markets with a broad range of alloys, thicknesses, and coatings. Job Summary:

We are seeking an Evening Production Superintendent to ensure safe operations, optimizing workflow, troubleshooting issues and meeting production targets while controlling costs. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Maintain a safe work environment through cultural development, behavior-based safety, and adherence to Work Instructions, RCA on safety incidents and near misses, and completion of safety observations.

- Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity, production shortfalls, and operating concerns for remediation.

- Mentor and evaluate the performance of operations staff.

- Ensures adherence to/compliance with company policies, rules and regulations relating to safety/health, performance standards, operating procedures, processes, and training requirements.

- Use lean manufacturing methodologies to identify bottlenecks and implement initiatives

- Work with other departments (Safety, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance) to resolve issues and improve operations.

- Serve as resource for operational leads in problem solving and escalation of issues.

Requirements:

- 3+ years supervisory experience.

- Proven track record in leading and directing the work of other individuals assigned to the team.

- Maintain a positive attitude and promote a teamwork mentality.

- Strong interpersonal, teambuilding and communication skills with all levels of the organization

- Must possess good leadership and coaching skills, have a solid comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change is essential and critical to this position

- Position works 6 PM to 6 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 (Dependent on Qualifications)
