Location: Various job sites across the GTA

Job Type: Full-Time, Days

The Powerline Technicians at Powerline Plus Ltd. perform skilled and hazardous electrical work in the installation, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground electric distribution lines, transformers, and related equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

Powerline Technician role includes but not limited to the following duties:

- The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- Powerline Technician Red Seal Certificate

- license with a clean driver abstract

- Letter of experience from previous employer insurance

- Working at Heights training

- Ability to operate heavy duty equipment, such as bucket trucks and Radial Boom Derricks

Duties & Responsibilities

- Install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain electrical distribution systems including overhead and underground power lines and cables, transformers and other associated equipment

- Perform the construction of overhead lines; setting, framing of poles (primary and secondary), stringing and energizing conductors

- Perform the construction of underground lines; installation of primary and secondary, ducts and conductors; termination and energizing primary and secondary conductors

- Perform electric utility connections, disconnections

- Safely operate heavy duty utility equipment including Radial Boom Derricks (R.B.D), bucket trucks, and related equipment as required

Pay: From $53.96 per hour
