Picker Swamper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Swamper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment and support various tasks related to freight handling and transportation. This role is essential for ensuring that operations run smoothly and that all equipment is maintained in top condition.

Responsibilities

- Assist with loading and unloading freight from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

- Support commercial drivers during transport by managing equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties on-site.

- Rigging equipment/tanks for lifting. (This may be at height.)

- Experience with pumpjacks is prefered.

Experience

- Familiarity with commercial driving practices is a plus.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
