We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll / AP Coordinator to join our PR/Finance team in Weirton, West Virginia. This position is responsible for helping with the accurate and timely processing of payroll and supporting some finance functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of payroll procedures, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
· Maintain and update employee records in ADP Workforce Now, including onboarding, terminations, pay changes, and vacation/PTO accruals across multiple states.
· Process accurate and timely payroll for employees in various states, ensuring compliance with state-specific wage and hour laws.
· Set up and manage employee pay rates, garnishments, benefit deductions, and tax withholdings within ADP, including multi-state tax configurations.
· Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly using ADP’s reporting and self-service tools.
· Collaborate with HR to ensure consistent employee data entry and accurate benefit and timekeeping integration across all state jurisdictions.
· Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax reports through ADP Tax Filing Services, including support for complex multi-state tax filings.
· Assist with year-end processing, including W-2 and 1099 generation and reconciliation for employees working in multiple states.
