The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, with a particular focus on Prevailing Wage Reporting. You'll collaborate with a skilled payroll team and contribute to our ongoing commitment to operational excellence.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and verification.
- Perform regular audits to guarantee data accuracy.
- Oversee timekeeping systems and processes to ensure accurate recording of employee work hours.
- Collaborate with HR to address any payroll-related compliance issues.
- Collaborate with Finance for accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA/HSA, and retirement plans.
- Act as a liaison between employees, benefits broker and benefits vendors to resolve issues and support enrollment, claims, and eligibility.
- Oversee the management of the benefits renewal process and annual open enrollment in partnership with brokers and providers.
- Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to employee benefits.
- Educate employees on benefit offerings and changes and develop communication tools to enhance employee understanding and engagement.
- Experience with Prevailing Wage Reporting
- 1-3 years of payroll experience
- Exposure to Procore, Viewpoint Spectrum and Traqspera software is beneficial
- Experience with ADP payroll processes
- Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word applications
- Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, which reflects a good-faith estimate based on market data and internal equity.
