We are looking for a dedicated Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our team in Dublin, CA.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Payroll Administration
•Process weekly salary payroll using CMIC.
•Collect all necessary paperwork to process timely payroll.
•Process garnishments and new hire paperwork including I-9s, W-4s, etc.
•Assist with the completion of quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, including Forms 941, 940, and applicable state returns.
•Assist with preparation and distribution of W-2s and 1095Cs.
•Assist employees with payroll related questions and solve discrepancies when needed.
•Support other payroll-related projects and tasks as assigned.
Benefits Administration
•Process employee 401(k) contributions and other reporting related to the 401K plan.
•Oversee maintenance of employee benefit elections and ensure benefits information is up to date.
•Monthly & annual reports/payments for benefits.
•Support Open Enrollment.
•Support onboarding and offboarding, including supporting employee enrollment into benefits or termination of benefits.
•Work with insurance providers and Third-Party Administrators to effectively manage all benefit programs.
Qualifications
•Minimum 3 years of experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
•Knowledge of CMiC preferred but not required.
•Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office. Able to learn new programs quickly.
•Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll and benefits, including FMLA, COBRA, ACA, and ERISA.
