Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to manage and process multi-state payroll from start to finish. This role plays a critical part in ensuring employees are compensated accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

What You'll Do:

•

Execute daily payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll transactions

•

Manage payroll workflow and reconcile payroll prior to transmission

•

Validate and input all payroll entries accurately

•

Interface with payroll/invoicing system (Intaact)

•

Prepare and verify draft customer invoices weekly

•

Coordinate with internal teams for invoice support and documentation

•

Resolve payroll and invoice issues promptly and professionally

•

Communicate with placed inspectors regarding payroll and invoicing inquiries

•

Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state laws

•

Perform other payroll and finance-related tasks as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

•

1+ year of experience processing multi-state payroll

•

Solid understanding of payroll best practices, laws, and regulations

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

•

Experience with payroll software (Intaact a plus)

•

High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organization

•

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

•

Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
