Job Summary
The Payroll Specialist will oversee and manage all payroll operations across our growing organization and its affiliated entities. This role ensures payroll is processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with all applicable regulations—while helping support the backbone of our people-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
•Implement, maintain, and review payroll systems to ensure accurate processing of salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
•Process payroll updates such as new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes in a timely manner.
•Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws and regulations.
•Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
•Execute month-end reporting, including retention and accrual balances.
•Contribute to process improvement and cross-functional collaboration as we scale.
•Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Skills & Abilities
•Understanding of payroll functions, tax compliance, and internal controls.
•Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
•Proven confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Clear and professional communication skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•Experience with payroll software; ADP preferred but not required.
Education & Experience
•Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or 3–5 years of related payroll experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
