Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time reliable and experienced Office Assistant to join our team. Would be great opportunity for a retired person seeking to earn extra income. Work hours would be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. one or two days a week. The ideal candidate will support staff with daily office operations and administrative tasks. This position requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn other tasks where needed.
- Provide support including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments and maintaining office supplies.
- Utilize QuickBooks for creating and maintaining estimates and work orders.
- Organize and maintain files, both digital and physical, ensuring easy access to important documents.
- Act as a personal assistant to senior staff as needed, handling various tasks that require discretion and confidentiality.
- Support office management functions by coordinating with vendors and service providers.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, document preparation, and report generation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in an administrative or office assistant role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently/or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities/unexpected challenges.
