Role Description

This full-time, on-site Mining Engineer position at GeoLogic LLC is based in Acworth, GA. The role involves developing and overseeing mine planning and design, conducting geological investigations, evaluating mining projects, and applying engineering principles to improve operational efficiency and safety. Responsibilities include analyzing mineral resources, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Mine Planning and Mining Engineering methodologies (Carlson, AutoCAD 3D)

- 2-3 years of experience MAX

- Applicants with MS or PhD WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED

- EIT/FE REQUIRED

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret geological data and design mining processes

- Knowledge and experience in Coal and Coal Mining operations Preferred, but not required

- Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations related to the mining industry

- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field

- Proficiency in mining software and relevant tools REQUIRED

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
